Choose based on machine weight divided by number of pads. For example, 500 kg machine on 4 pads = 125 kg per pad (1.23 kN). Add 20% safety margin. SLPM-660 rated to 10 kN is ideal.
Uneven floor → use SLPM/SLPF swivel. Level floor → SLPM-SM non-swivel is cheaper. High vibration → always choose swivel for self-leveling under dynamic load.
External (SLPM) threads onto studs on machine feet. Internal (SLPF) screws onto existing protruding studs. Check your machinery design; internal is more common for retrofits.
Smooth concrete floors → anti-skid mandatory to prevent machinery creep. Textured/rough floors → swivel alone may suffice. Vibratory equipment → always anti-skid.
Standard industrial: steel with black ED coating. Wet/food/pharma: SS 304 electro-polished. Non-conductive required: technopolymer or POM. Cleanroom ESD: SS 304 with GRD stud option.
Larger base = better floor contact & stability. TPLP-60 (compact), TPLP-80 (medium), TPLP-100 (large footprint). Match floor quality; rough floors benefit from larger diameter.
Laboratory solvents or oil-rich environment → POM-base (LPF) for inertness. Food/cleanroom → SS 304 with technopolymer (TPLP-SS). Standard factory → steel is fine.
Leveling pads are not jacks. For precision leveling, use spirit level & thread all pads equally. Unequal height differences must be pre-shimmed with precision shims (not leveling pads).
